VITTORIO BRANCHIZIO FW 2015-16 . COLLECTION
VITTORIO BRANCHIZIO FW 2015-16 COLLECTION
In his new collection Vittorio Branchizio took inspiration from the concept of three-dimensionality and from the complex forms of the polyhedra, creating a line which is both a reflection on and reworking of their influences on art through the ages: from Archimedean solids and Luca Pacioli’s divine proportions, to the epiphanies of Giovanni da Verona, Escher and Adriano Graziotti.
Geometrical shapes and 3D jacquard reworkings enliven diverse weaves; the combining of threads with different weights creates deeper inlays with richer tones and reliefs; different colours design geometrical shapes.
On finished cashmire and silk garments are applied artistic handmade coloured prints and paintings thus making each piece unique.
On outerwear, new quilting machines are used, with a double merino wool layer filled and warmed with eco hypoallergenic, ecological material.
